Cutting thru the clutter here is the simplified version. Hydroxyl Radicals used to sterilize and destroy odors don’t have the staying power to travel as far as Ozone. So, once the molecule is generated it breaks down within a fraction of a second. Ozone on the other hand can last as long as 30 minutes. 30 minutes is plenty of time to travel thru a home or business (even under a home or business) to destroy odors at their source. This includes into air ducts and heating / cooling and ventilation systems. So yes Hydroxyl radicals work really well but would require you to move the machine a buhzillion (that’s a new word) times during a treatment and that would mean you’d have to be standing in the room while it was operating. Or you could run multiple fans all circulating to push air toward the hydroxyl generator. No matter what some sites claim, no matter what the science says, stick to breathing 02…
If you want to read more scientific studies on the difference between Ozone and Hydroxyl Radicals, simply google it and you will find for yourself a ton of information including numerous university studies on the subject.
